Spiritual Adoption
Wow! I have more taste buds now than I will at any time in my life. I can even tell which foods you like best, Mom, and I’m sure glad you like ice cream! I wonder what my favorite flavor will be. I can’t wait to see what kind we’ll have together this time next year.
“For he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.”

SPIRITUAL ADOPTION BABY SHOWER
While it is not always possible to see the particular effects of prayer, we know through Scripture that God wants us to pray, and we know by faith that He answers all prayers. Your baby’s mother appreciates the prayers you have said for her and her baby throughout the pregnancy. Mark your calendar for Sunday, September 12th when we will conclude our Spiritual Adoption program for this year and have a “baby shower” for All Babies Cherished after our 8:30AM and our 11AM Masses.
Baby Shower Gift Ideas:
- Baby wash, lotions, shampoo and bath care items
- Diapers, newborn through pull-ups and wipes
- Diaper bags
- Crib sheets and bedding
- New bottles, baby food and formula
- Diaper rash ointment
- Books
- Maternity clothing
- No toys can be accepted
With the unfortunate passing of the Reproductive Act we want to highlight some of the great organizations that are offered in this area:
All Babies Cherished Pregnancy Assistance Center is a Christ centered organization and is willing to share the Word of God through words and deeds. All Babies Cherished – Batavia (585) 344-5660
The center provides emotional support, encouragement, guidance, life skills and parenting, as well as of an array of other classes, and practical assistance to mothers and fathers, as well as on-going family support as needed during pregnancy and the first three years of the child’s life.
Mother Teresa Home supports homeless pregnant and/or parenting young people who are in need of basic necessities like food and shelter. The goal of the program is to teach young mothers parenting skills, education, health and much more to help with their long-term economic independence.
It is a sanctuary for those who need a fresh start.
