On this Good Shepherd Sunday we celebrate the World Day of Prayer for Vocations. Pray for an increase in vocations to the priesthood, diaconate and religious life, especially for our diocese.  May God raise up good shepherds in our midst. If God is calling you to a Church vocation, call Fr. Dan or Fr. Andrew Lauricella at 716-847-5535.

2018 WORLD DAY OF PRAYER FOR VOCATIONS

Today the Church throughout the world prays for vocations. Will you make a special effort to ask the Lord for more vocations to the priesthood and religious life?

  • Pray for the priests who have ministered to you throughout your life, both living and dead.
  • Keep Fr. Dan in your prayer throughout the week.
  • Encourage your children, grandchildren or other young people to consider a vocation as a priest or religious brother or sister.
  • Pray a rosary for more young men and women in our diocese to respond to God’s call.

Dear Holy Spirit,

Please help those who hear Your call only as a whisper, that they may know that it is You calling them to service. May You fill those You call with the grace and courage to respond to Your whisper. I will pray, encourage and support those whom You have chosen for priestly and religious vocations.

Amen

Please pray for all seminarians, especially Seminarians Bill Papaj.

If you would like to send a letter or encouraging card to Bill Papaj while they are in the Seminary, the address is:
