Day of Reflection: Fatima

When:    Saturday October 21, 2017 during afternoon and early evening hours.

WhereChrist the King Seminary

What:     Come for a Day of Reflection and gather for food, prayer, social, Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, a living rosary at dusk around the pond with Rev. John Adams.

Fr. John will be returning on October 18th from his retreat visit to Fatima, Portugal as he is blessed to celebrate the anniversary of the last appearance of Our Lady at this sacred site and the Miracle of the Sun that occurred 100 years ago on October 13, 1917. Come and join others around the Diocese for what can be a unique opportunity for spiritual growth. Meet in the Main Chapel on Campus for Introduction and Schedule.

Day of Reflection Tentative Schedule:  (subject to change due to weather, etc.)

1:00pm to 1:45pm         Greeting and Introduction:  Significance of Our Lady of Fatima to Our Everyday Life (St. John Vianney Chapel [Main Chapel])

1:45pm to 2:15pm         Reflective Prayer – The Apparitions:  God Visited His People (Our Lady of the Lake statue on the grounds of Christ the King Seminary)

2:15 pm to 2:30pm        Procession from the Lake to St. Vincent Dorm Chapel with Our Lady of Fatima Statue Exposition/Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

2:40pm to 3:45pm         These Hundred Years: Fatima, Remembering and Sharing through DVD musical/film   (CKS Auditorium)

3:45pm to 4:15pm         Time of Personal Reflection (Time of relaxation, meditation and “Taking Sabbath” on the grounds of CKS)

4:15pm to 4:30pm         Benediction (St. Vincent Dorm Chapel)

4:30pm to 5:20pm         Vigil Mass (St. John Vianney Chapel [Main Chapel]

5:30pm to 6:15pm         Dinner, Campus Center

6:25pm to 7:00pm         Procession with Our Lady of Fatima Statue and Living Rosary around Lake

7:00pm to ?                   Social (Coffee, cold drinks, pastries at Campus Center)

** Note: You can join us for all or part of the Day of Reflection. However, if you are coming to the Dinner, Vigil Mass and/or concluding Social, please indicate your attendance through RSVP to Fr.
