Our Parish is once again hosting a Forty Hour Devotion in honor of our Patron, St. Maximilian Kolbe, whose Feast Day is August 14th.

The Forty Hour Devotion will begin after 7PM Mass on Thursday, August 10th in Corfu. There will be continuous Adoration until Saturday, August 12th at 11:30AM with Benediction and closing Mass at Noon.  Please sign up to spend at least one hour with the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, Our Savior and King. The sign-up sheets are in the back of each church. We ask that our parishioners commit to certain times to ensure that the Blessed Sacrament is never left unattended. All timeslots must be filled. Confessions will be available on on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9PM.

What is the Forty Hours of Devotion? The exposition of the Blessed Sacrament day and night in continuity, during which time pious persons take their turns uninterruptedly as adorers. As a rule the object of this perpetual adoration is reparation for the outrages of men against a God of goodness. You may come and pray, meditate, read or just spend some quiet time with our Lord.
