The death of a loved one can be a very difficult time in our lives. Dealing with the grief, funeral arrangements and other details can be overwhelming. Here at St. Maximilian Kolbe we are honored to be able to offer a Martha’s Table luncheon to the family and friends of parishioners after the funeral of a loved one, if needed. We are now in the process of updating our list of Martha’s Table Volunteers. As a part of this ministry, you would be called upon to make a dish or to volunteer to help serve at a funeral lunch. At these times, we often don’t know what to do or say to express our condolences, providing this service is a rewarding and heart-warming expression of faith and love to members of our parish family in their time of need. If you are interested in helping with this compassionate ministry, please sign up on the sheets at the back of church or contact Cindy Gloss at (585) 297-5680. Thank you for all you do!
